First of all, Happy 2019!! I don’t know about you, but I don’t normally get too excited about the new year. Maybe because I’ve never had any resolutions or set goal in the past? I’m not gonna lie… I don’t like to put expectations on myself because I feel like I’m just setting myself up for disappointment and failure. Putting those feelings aside, I am setting some realistic(ish) goals for myself in 2019. In no particular order, here they are:
- Less screen time at home – As a working mom, this is important to me. I want to always be present for my daughter since we already have so little time together.
- Don’t sweat the small stuff – This is a big one for me because I sweat the small stuff, the big stuff, and everything in between.
- Keep on blogging – I’m new to this blog world, but I’d like to stick around. I was going to set a goal for a certain number of blogs per week or month, but I won’t do that to myself. I do promise to blog the whole year!
- Declutter – My things, my life, my brain. It could all use a good cleaning out!
- Follow my career dreams – For me, this includes writing more, being creative, and ultimately getting some work published.
